good morning, good afternoon, good evening (i dont know what time you are reading this but heres what i have to say...)

i want to share with you an anectode (pardon my spelling) about what happened to me today, whilst on the way home from school, i met a long lost friend and reconciled with him, he was my pri school friend and i had only recently remembered though he is attending the same sch wif us. We started to chat at the bus stop and what struck me was what he said, "this is our LAST CHANCE, in pri school we could play around and do not so well for PSLE, in secondary school we can also try slightly harder but still fool around and get decent grades for 'O's, but 'A' levels, is our final chance, it will determine if we get into a good uni, a good job and a good career. So if you want to play hard the way we did in pri sch, we can strive hard together and finish this race. After that, we can play like in pri sch. Lets meet up next time and show each other our good results"

I guess you must be wondering who this mysterious person must be... he's none other than Jian Rui, yep one of the top scorers of physics and chem, we came from the same pri school and now met up in JC. this goes to show how unpredictable life is (but thats another topic for another time)

what i want to tell u guys reading this is to not give up hope! Yes we didnt do very well for mid years, neither did we do extraordinary in our subjects, but one last push is all we need, one last sprint to complete the race. So lets persevere on and try our best, let us go the extra mile and when we recieve our results we can exclaim, "we did our utmost, and we dont regret it".

so work hard, study smart, but most importantly HOPE. I hope because i believe, and with it half the paper is conquered.
